Cassidy-Davies Electrical began in 2017 when two Kiwi sparkies, Dylan Cassidy from Auckland and Tim Davies from Christchurch, decided it was finally time to take the leap and build something of their own.

After years working together on major projects across New Zealand, they’d seen the good, the bad, and the downright chaotic sides of the electrical industry. They also knew they shared the same drive:

Do things properly. Treat people well. Build a team that backs each other. Deliver work you can genuinely be proud of.

So they combined their experience, packed their tools, and set up a Christchurch-based electrical company built on straight-up honesty, high standards, and solid relationships.

What started as two mates on the tools has grown into one of Canterbury’s most trusted electrical teams – known for their workmanship, reliability, and a culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

Today, Tim and Dylan remain hands-on leaders, guiding a fast-growing crew and staying true to the values they built the business on back in 2017.
