Cassidy-Davies Electrical is looking for electrical apprentices.
When I was first starting my apprenticeship I was at a company that just used me to cable tie, clean up site and sweep out the container, it was an ok culture but I just felt like a number and wasn’t learning anything. I knew I had the skills and had some good ideas but no one ever took me seriously.
They talked about helping me with my apprenticeship and having regular catch ups, but that never happened.
Of course I was paid for my efforts, but I had no job satisfaction, something was missing.

We are looking for 2nd and 3rd year apprentices to join our fun, supportive, and busy team.
Our team completes a variety of projects including commercial, new builds, renovations, servicing, and maintenance.
Role Requirements:
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
- Good communication skills and the ability to complete digital paperwork
- Demonstrate initiative, effectively troubleshoot and problem solve
- Ability to work to client deadlines with great time management
- Be a team player with a can-do attitude
- A commitment to upholding high safety standards
- Previous electrical experience is an advantage

This is a permanent position working 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
